Kanoria Seva Kendra is a Charitable Trust founded by late Shri Radhakissen Kanoria and now headed by his son Kailash Kumar Kanoria for their philanthropic activities in area of Medical, Education and Religion. Kanoria Seva Kendra is a Charitable Trust registered at the Charitable Trust Registration Office at Ahmedabad, Gujarat on 30th July, 1992.
The Trust established Kanoria Hospital and Research Centre in year 1987 at Bhat Village, Gandhinagar, Gujarat catering to the needs of neighbouring rural populations. The motto of the hospital is to provide services to the poor & lower income strata of the society at affordable rates.
The Kanoria Hospital has full-fledged Health Care Departments like Medicine, Gynecology, Pediatrics, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, and Psychiatry. It has two well- equipped Operation Theatres and Diagnostic Division comprising of a complete and well equipped Pathology Laboratory, Radiology and facilities of conducting tests like EEG, ECG, Sonography, Tread Mill Test, etc. Hospital provides ambulance service, too.
We have a fully equipped modern state of the art 8 bedded Intensive Care Unit (ICU) department with ventilator facilities, cardiac monitors, where we provide service to patients who are in need of medical emergency. We have oxygen generating plant where supply of oxygen is provided on all the beds throughout the hospital. We also have a fully equipped Dialysis Centre.
Kanoria Hospital is unique and premier of its kind in the state of Gujarat providing Alcohol and Drugs De-Addiction services in particular and even other types of multiple addictions.

De-Addiction Centre
Kanoria Hospital is leading de-addiction service centre in Gujarat as well as in India. Kanoria Hospital is unique and premier of its kind in the state of Gujarat providing Alcohol and Drugs De-addiction services in particular and even other types of multiple addictions. Kanoria Hospital regularly conducts free camps not only at its premises but also in various small towns and villages of Gujarat State from time to time mainly in Psychiatry/Drug & Alcohol De-addiction and also for family planning etc. The department of de-addiction has qualified counsellors to provide effective counselling to patients and their close relatives to get over the evil/habit of addiction. Kanoria Hospital makes them aware of the bad effects of the addiction and tries to bring them back to life.
Kanoria Hospital conducts awareness camps for de-addiction of mainly alcohol in villages and towns of Gujarat State in conjunction with the local bodies and even with the Gram Panchayats there from time to time regularly. Kanoria Hospital is a pioneer voluntary non-profit organization dedicated to the treatment rehabilitation of people addicted to alcohol and other drug. Kanoria Hospital offers comprehensive view in patient programme. Treatment utilizes a multidisciplinary approach with the help of Psychiatrist, Physician, Psychologist, Counsellor, Social worker. The treatment programme includes: Detoxification, Intense psychological therapy, Family therapy, Group therapy, and Yoga therapy chronic health problem associated with addiction and withdrawal symptom to sudden stoppage of alcohol are dealt with during detoxification –Detoxification period is about 7-10 days. After detoxification patient undergoes an intensive 1 week in patient therapeutic programme. It comprises Individual counselling, Lecture, Group therapy, Family therapy, Relaxation, Yoga therapy. Follow up is important aspect of treatment. It includes medical check-ups, counselling session, relapse prevention programme.
